Speaking to People on the red carpet just before the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, Smith was asked whether he had any regrets around the end of his short-lived relationship with Jonathan Zeizel last year.
Yet what the ‘Lay Me Down’ singer unexpectedly revealed was a strong pang of sadness and guilt around the relationship ending, with Smith blaming himself for how things ended in the way they did.
“It was my fault,” he said.
“I fell in love with him. I shouldn’t have done that."
He seems like one of those people that had never had a boyfriend so when he finally does he claims he's "in love" and just becomes annoying and obsessive.
