U guys dont get it. That guy was about an 8, Sam maybe a 5 at best back then. To get the attention of a guy out of his league in addition to being romantically inexperienced, of course he fell hard & fast n probably became too needy. I think what he really felt was infatuation not love. Im sure he's been more wary of guys since then.
