I live in Chicago and it's amazing.

Chicago is quite nice to visit if you know where to go. Navy Pier is probably overrated and expensive (and ****ing crowded in the summer) imo but the ferris wheel and some attraction are nice. Personally I prefer to go to Chicago to visit certain areas like the museums, some of the local joints and Millennium Park (where the Mirror Ball is).

I still yet to explore the Magnificent Mile and Lincoln Park even though I visit the city almost every year

Chicago is the "Pink" of US cities.

I have no interest in going to the "windy city" I live in a desert.

Michigan avenue is the busiest pedestrian street in the city, it has some nice shopping! Also you should go to the top of Hancock tower. It has better views than WIllis tower
And Lincoln park zoo is free and quite nice! About 20 walking minutes away there is a great beach on the lake, you can swim in summer. There is a real beach culture in the city in summer!

Chicago is very different depending on a neighborhood. Downtown (The Loop), and north side (Lakeview, Andersonville,etc.) are pretty safe and very good-looking! The downtown in particular is the nicest part of any American city imo. Very clean, organized and rich without being too pricey

I been to the beach before. It's quite nice although I prefer the quietness of Indiana Dunes

I'm kinda scared to go into one of those towers, fear of height and all

It seems like a great city. It's beautiful.

I have a lot family there and I used to live there as a child. Its beautiful in a nostalgic way, but very dangerous.

Lovely city but the people (that I came across anyway) were soso rude, especially those involved in retail/customer service (I'm looking at you, Amtrak)

Indiana Dunes is very nice! I go there every year. The water in the lake is so shallow though

I was going to recommend you visit the glass box in Willis tower and the tilting glass thing at Hancock

I've been there once since my ex used to live out there. It's cool.
