Even if they were, the focus should be the big corporations who turned a sacred religious day into a marketing ploy. So what if Atheists want to show their friends and family that they mean something to them on December 25th every year?
No. Unless they go to church. Christians celebrate God/Christ on that day, while the gifts and other holiday traditions came from other cultural traditions.
1. Xmas has as much Christianity in it as any random atheist. It's a secular holiday.
2. Xmas is not a Christian holiday. Christians appropriated the pagan holiday in an attempt to kill it.
Considering Christianity incorporated Christmas into their Religion when it actually has pagan roots im gonna say no. Christmas isnt about Jesus anymore lbr, its about Santa, presents, family, christmas trees, lights etc all of which are not exclusive to Christians.
Christmas never belonged to the Christians in the first place and besides Christmas is commercialised these days, hardly anyone uses it to celebrate "the birth of Christ"
No, but Christians are appropriating pagan culture by continuing to steal the pagan holiday of Yuletide and appropriate it as their own holiday (they've been doing this for over 1,500 years)
