1) He's distracted everyone from the issues Clinton herself has been dealing with
2) He's been making a mockery of the Republican party, alienating minorities from associating with the party
3) He's previously said that he would run as an independent, so even if he doesn't get the Republican nod, he'll most likely run and divide the votes for that party
4) He's only said positive things about Hillary before this run

I think that's a realistic possibility at this point

That's the only thing that would explain everything about Donald Trump. Donald Trump is not an idiot. If you watch interviews of him (prior to this campaign), he's very put together. There's even an interview of him with Oprah where he talks about the role of president and it's very... Logical. It's a different character than the extremist dictator we have today. Of course, people can change sides, but I don't think you could change that drastically. Further, he's supported Hillary and donated money to her and has always identified as a Democrat until recently... Him trying to guarantee the victory for Hillary would literally explain everything.

I would work for anybody if they had a grammy to their name tbh.

If it came out that this was true and she won the election because of her, the GOP would spend her entire presidency trying to impeach her.
