Its false to say "Islam = Peace" tho, since there are many different subreligions that differ a LOT from each other. You cannot compare somebody who is an Alevi with somebody who is a Sunni, even tho both practice Islam. Just take a look at many of these islamic countries. They fight and kill each other even though they all believe in the Islam. The difference tho is the degree of conservatism and the consecutive extremism.

In Marocco, ~90% are Sunni, hence there is barely no reason for them to fight within their borders. Its not like for example in Iraq where there is a 60:40 kind of percentage when it comes to the subreligions.

There's plenty of peaceful muslim countries in South East Asia, Albania, Bosnia, Kazakhstan etc.

ya still that law isnt enforced (for the most part) it's still shockingly one of them ost progressive muslim countries. so it comparison it's doing pretty good. it literally needs to shifts and change laws like that immediately though.

yes however the ppl involved were arrested ..which is shocking considering it's supposed to be none important to them. It's interesting to see that they are shifting though. it's a country in progression and for the most part it is safe

Just because there is peace in Morocco right now doesnt mean it cant have the same fate as less fortunate muslim countries. Have been in Morocco and I can tell you one thing, if someone tried to treat Morocco the same way as they did Iraq, Libya and Syria, like overthrow Moroccan king and government by force and by supporting extremist groups which are there and in the neighboring areas, especially in Western Sahara and Algeria, similarly to the aforementioned countries, the things would look much different now. Fortunatelly, Morocco isnt as oil rich as those countries
