Not surprised in the least

I was arrested in June here in the UK for underage drinking and being in an over 18 premises with false identification (among other things) The charges were dropped. Thank God this wasn't in America because I might have been shot, although I'm not black.

If a man is coming out a cop with a knife, they have a right to shoot him in self defense. Period.
I mean, I'd say it's great that the UK ones could take him out non-fatally, but I prioritize the cops life higher than the attempted murderer's life

To be fair, he seemed to be threatening himself vs. other people, so I'd prefer a non-fatal solution (it's NOT as facepalm worthy as the first video). I mean, I always do, but I think it's more viable here. That said, yeah. A knife-wielding nut that's threatening to harm other people getting shot by cops.... is perfectly legitimate. Especially in the first video where said nut is attacking the cops with a knife, presumably before he runs off to try and kill someone else

As said, it's obviously preferable, but it is a bigger risk on the cop's part too. I have a lot of issues with the U.S. cops, but taking out an armed attempted murderer is pretty low on the list

UK are generally much better and have less implicit bias considering they haven't been marinated in an infrastructural racial inequity from the day they were born in the same way those in the US have.

Police in the UK understand its not their job to hand out justice, thats for the criminal justice system to decide
