So my face has quite a bit of acne scarring right now. I really can't deal. I'm washing my face with ointments but it's just not fixing it. It's affecting my confidence and I just want it to be covered at this point
I was wondering to any gay guys (or straight ) out there. What make-up do you use? I'm curious to get into it but don't know what to start with/get
Also for the record, the acne is not severe enough to warrant medication. I've been on such stuff before and it's nowhere near as bad as that, I'm just looking for make-up.
Girls moisturize ya skin and take care of ya diet.
I'm not looking for that kind of answer.
I do take care of my diet, I'm just talking about the occasional bout of acne that people get from time to time. Besides, I know for a fact that a lot of gay guys wear make-up when they go out, so I'm just curious what they use.
I use a CC-cream. It doesn't offer as high of a coverage as foundations do, but it looks more natural. It won't cover up blemishes, but it will cover up redness and fade hyperpigmentation

this doesn't work for everyone, acne is often hormonal
You donīt need any make-up. I used Roaccutan. These tablets contain Isotretinoin which KILLS your acne. You only get it with a prescription from your doctor, and it has minor side effects.

Sis I've taken that before for severe acne, but this acne I'm talking about is nowhere near as bad.
I heard from a friend that the better option over make up is fake tan
he told me he uses the one on the left
and I am thinking of getting one as well, he said that you put on your face (but not a lot, just a little bit) and the next morning your face is the same color, thus making the acne hard to be noticed etc.
Idk about make up but why dont you go the natural route? Honey is an amazing moisturiser and helps with scars so does Lemon mixing it with honey will help reduce the sting. Tomato, olive oil and aloe vera also help. I literally just washed off a banana and honey home made face mask
Stop it with the "homemade honey lemon masks". They do nothing
If you want to hide your scars or postinflammatory hyperpigmentation, you either:
1. Let it fade over time
2. Use make-up
3. Get a (medium to deep) chemical peel, IPL, dermastamp etc.
Just spot conceal. I was at my sisters the other day and she had this thing that looked like chap stick. She told me it was a stick concealer and she uses it for covering blemishes. Well, I guess it depends on how many blemishes you have, though. Idk.
