You could spot conceal like someone else mentioned if you only want to cover the acne. You will need a concealer or full coverage foundation. Dermablend is a good brand for this, I would recommend taking a look at their website. Also look into getting a beauty blender to apply it, it sheers down the makeup and gives it a more natural look.
A lot of people are suggesting BB creams and I don't really find them helpful enough for concealing acne scars. There's also a lot of complaint about the quality of American/European BB creams compared to the Asian ones. I wouldn't really waste the money on them! Concealer and/or Foundation (medium or heavy coverage if skipping concealer) is your best bet. Brand depends entirely on your budget, and its good to note that more expensive does NOT mean better when it comes to makeup. It can be very hit or miss, unfortunately.
CC cream for everyday light, natural coverage and foundation for events.
I wouldn't recommend CC cream if your scarring is severe and you want full coverage, just go for a liquid foundation. I personally don't like foundation because it's too much work in the morning and my skin only needs light coverage to just even out my skin tone.
Henny get yourself some Stridex Acne Control in the red box. I've had clogged pores (small bumps with stringy puss), large painful overnight spots and scars for years now but I bought this a few weeks ago and it's really cleared my skin up. It's the best it's looked in years! It's an exfoliant so it gets rid of dead skin and cleans out deep pores, leaving nice smooth skin in place.
But if you need a right now solution, get some concealer that's closest to your skin tone, cover up the spots and blend it out to the surrounding area. If you can still see it after covering it up though then just wash it off and just get over it because makeup dries your skin up so it'll take longer to heal.
Oh girl do not read any of the above posts and just listen here -
First things first, there are definitely mild medications you can consider taking, for example Duac gel is really easy to use and won't irritate your skin too much, definitely ask your doctor about it, and don't be scared about going to the doctor with only 3 spots on your face - even the mildest of acne should be treated!!
As for covering up, go to MAC and ask for Pro Longwear concealer in your correct shade. Don't order it online, you have to have it matched to your skin tone. Its the best for guys/acne because it is really high coverage and melts into the skin perfectly, meaning it isn't obvious at all. It also lasts forever so you can justify the high price.
