Just because it's not some easily digestable pop album (which isn't a bad thing) doesn't mean it's overrated.
He is the best rapper in the game right now. TPAB might have just pulled him ahead of Kanye. But Kanye is literally the only person who can keep up with Kendrick at this point.
Drake, Schoolboy Q, and Lupe have yet to release an album so strong, and I don't see them ever putting out an album that essential to the genre.
Finally let's not put some cheap Lana Del Rey knockoff which was already tiresome when Lana ran thaet schtick into the ground by the middle of the BTD era in the same league as Kendrick's two fantastic albums. When Halsey releases an album that has very well changed the standards of her genre THEN we can (maybe) have this discussion.
