I'm sure most people can relate to parents being homophobic, racist, sexist or transphobic etc.
But I'm just really sick of this. I respect my parents but if I keep quiet that means I think it's okay.
Bad things happen because good people do nothing!
How do you deal with it?
Like, one time my mum just started dragging the ISIS and then she mentioned Muslims. I tried to tell her the difference between Muslims & the EXTREMIST and she just wouldn't listen. The media has brainwashed people! I challenged her saying KKK were white Christians and that shut her up

which is a surprise because as much as I love her, she's so stubborn.
My dad once said all white people are racist but he said this ages ago when I was like 8. Maybe his views have changed. So I thought my school teacher was racist, my friends were racist and every white person I knew didn't like me due to the colour of my skin. Now I know this isn't true thanks to the internet and educating myself but
how do you deal with that?
My mum is homophobic and I really dislike it because I hate it when minorities (I'm black if that's not obvious) are mean to other minorities. We're all fighting the same enemy and deserve equality.
So, when your parents are discriminatory, do you keep quiet or try to educate them?
Sometimes I wonder why God created minorities
