I'll start with the UK where 67% didn't vote for the Tories yet we got a Conservative majority government

. And in Scotland only 50% voted SNP but they got 56 out of the 59 seats

. We also have an unelected House of Lords that the piece of **** Prime Minister is packing to make sure his legislation passes instead of reducing the size of Lords and continuing reform to an elected House like he's supposed to be doing, considering the current incarnation of the Lords is one of a transitional House.
The UK also doesn't strictly follow the doctrine of separation of powers and our PM isn't directly elected like most heads of the executive branch. The Tories are also redrawing the constituency boundaries in their favour and trying to implement English votes for English laws (ironically referred to as EVAL) to make sure they are the only party who can govern the UK again
