Redrawing the boundaries is fine, the last time they were redone was during Labours government and the current constituencies are bias towards Labour. The entire system needs overhauled, but the UK voted against doing the overhauling in 2011 so there's no demand to make elections more fair. So, undemocratic elections are the democratic choice of the UK people, I guess...

Compared to in 2011, when the AV referendum was pedalled by the Lib Dems alone, this is a huge rise in people who want electoral reform, especially after the shock of the Conservatives winning outright in May and UKIP doing terribly despite polling well (not that I'm not glad UKIP didn't get more than 1 seat).
And let's not forget the Conservatives ran a massive campaign against the Lib Dems which poisoned the coalition. The Conservatives will always have more money than all the other parties and will use their money and take advantage of the right-wing media to get their way. The Tories just want power and aren't parties dedicated to a movement like most others. And they will do everything to a) get power and b) make sure no other party gets power. Electoral reform would harm the Cons so of course it's out of the question until at least 2020.
