50 Cent is not a businessman or a smart guy. He's a lucky guy. He got lucky one time with a deal that had a 150 million payout (which he blew in a few years, because he's a rapper, and rappers are generally dumb over-spenders). He's also not smart because he went on Conan, and admitted that he filed for bankruptcy to get out of the lawsuit on live television, and because of that recent revelation that he stupidly gave on a talk show, the judge has now ordered him to pay an extra 2 million more dollars on top of the 5 million dollars already ordered. He's a dumb guy. Don't fool yourself.
