It's important to remember that when you read Forbes lists that estimate a celebrities net worth, it is just that, an estimate. Even then, it is a pre-tax estimate before managers and lawyers get their cut.

A person who earns $100M will be lucky to be worth $50M after taxes and costs.

Duh. But what surprises me is that he doesn't have more money and his net worth isn't higher. I was thinking at least a 300M net worth with at least 50M in cash but I guess not. But this backfired. His ego was too big. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't let people think he was broke for even a short period of time. Now he's paying an extra $2M. Good luck.
