She isn't consistent enough and makes career/artistic moves that can sometimes be problematic or unfavourable towards her. I think almost everyone can agree that she is capable of doing FAR better, most of the time.
She has 6 Grammy's though, and 4 / 6 of them were acquired during a time when Grammy's were known to snub or underrate popstars.
Metacritic has never treated her well but the critical reception of Stripped and Bionic has more to do with the negativity that surrounded her career at those times rather than the quality of music. Even the most obsessed hater can admit Stripped did not deserve anything under 70
Hmmm her music hasnt been that good for almost 10 years... when did B2B come out? 2006?? it seems like she just jumps on trends but fails. Her best songs are the ballads but those always get ignored.... shame because she's probably the most talented singer or one of the most talented we have.
Hopefully she comes thru and releases something amazing.
