Um, it has been on a hiatus for an entire year, not to mention there were only two acts in 2007, and now it's coming back in full force with KATY PERRY, not many people caught Adele's 15 mins special.
I would pay good, GOOD money to see her perform "A Cup of Coffee." That song is her best kept secret and it would sound amazing performed acoustically.
I hope it airs soon, I'm kind of sad I won't be able to see her on the Today show this Friday.
Oh well, I'm happy about this idea and it's cool they're trying to catch people's attention using a very mainstream artist, but I wish they would've used a more talented artist to do this, I mean, I like Katy and her songs aren't bad, but, what can we expect from this? Nothing shocking / mind blowing, we know she's very limited vocally and I bet she's not gonnna play any instrument. I don't know, I ain't gonna continue cuz it's gonna sound like I'm hating on her. I'm happy but at the same time, not really interested.
OK.. MTV needs to have "Unplugged" with artists who actually have something to unplug. I guess they don't remember what that means either. Man MTV is going to be requesting bailouts soon.
