Ur So Gay- Badass horns. There was this one deep horn on the "real with me" part. UGH. She dedicated the second take to Markus who responded by shouting out, I'M NOT GAY!
Hackensack- LOVED THIS!!! The intro was sweet, she said it was relatable to this taping/ time in her life I think and a very well written pop song. Her voice was great on this, LOVED IT.
Thinking of You- Great as always! There was one part changed up in the instumental, can't remember but I liked it.
Waking Up In Vegas- Very cool acoustic!
Lost- Gorgeous! So much. My favorite next to Brick by Brick. I think this was the one with the big guitar solo, unless that was TOY (I am so tired!), but the drums in this reminded me of I Think I'm Ready. Also excellence.
Brick By Brick- Katy said she would do an extra one for us, which was really nice, it was going to be I Think I'm Ready but then she was like, should I do that or Brick By Brick. Of course everyone yelled out I Think I'm Ready, but I was all BRICK BY BRICK!! I like to think I wad the deciding factor. Dunno if you guys know this, but she did this one with Greg Wells. And if you follow Mika stuff, you'll know how great anything is with Greg Well's magic on it. Not to say that Katy isn't excellence too!
