OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. -
A picture of horrifying discovery made by an Osceola County family outside their home and posted on Facebook has angered animal lovers.
The family left their home on Lake Gentry Road and found a horse shot to death and tied to a pole. The Sheriff's Office is now looking for whoever dumped that horse on the family's driveway.
"Obviously, whoever did this has no regard for animals," said Amanda Schmidt, who saw the post on a local animal rescue group's Facebook page.
That is terrible Let's hope whoever did it gets caught and goes to jail. Every animal abuser should be jailed for doing such a horrific thing. Or at least pay some sort of cost for it. No animal deserves to be abused and no person deserves to be exposed to such a terrific thing like this. And even if it was suffering and already dying so they shot it to put it out of its mystery like the OP says, the way they disposed of it is just inhumane.
I can't breathe... My hands are literal shaking while I write. A moment like this can't be ignored like it's nothing. We have to do something to being Better in time and keep animals safe and Happy
