In Italy we normally eat horses. But killing them like that for no reason at all
As if having an excuse to kill an animal reduces its suffering. Whether it is killed just for fun or for your appetite, I see no difference. We should not kill them, period.

That is terrible Let's hope whoever did it gets caught and goes to jail. Every animal abuser should be jailed for doing such a horrific thing. Or at least pay some sort of cost for it. No animal deserves to be abused and no person deserves to be exposed to such a terrific thing like this. And even if it was suffering and already dying so they shot it to put it out of its mystery like the OP says, the way they disposed of it is just inhumane.

Animals should not suffer, they should be able to live a good normal life, but People eat meat and killing them for Food is different from killing them for fun.
