I think it could open some doors to trouble in the government/society. Not to mention, I don't see how polygamous relationships are healthy or work. A relationship should be about commitment, and polygamy devalues that.

Who cares? I feel like people make these points to try and discredit gay marriage. If people want to have a polygamous marriage they should fight for the right to do it just like gay people have done and go trough the proper process
