Is your city's gay scene nice and welcoming? What is clubbing like there?

Sydney, the city I'm from, has a very bisshy hierarchy; which is dominated by twinks and people who like to take drugs three nights a week. What's your gay scene like?

Yaaas Sydney. Oxford Street is the ****. Arq is kinda scummy tho & full of drugs but I like the other bars/clubs a lot.

The smell of amyl is so rank and creeps up on you no matter where you are in Arq.

Our Walmart is open 24/7

Los Angeles is amazing for the gays. We have everything here. Love my city

New Orleans is supposed to have one of the biggest LGBT scenes in the country but I swear there's nothing here Grindr is practically empty and with fat ugly men.

pretty limited...about 4 or 5 gay bars...

all pretty friendly and welcoming to all ages, types.

Almost nonexistent thankfully. You don't need fling yourself at a gay scene to meet gays. The best ones aren't that into all the clubbing and drugs. Oh and if you do it not for the drugs but just to meet friends, all your friends don't HAVE to be gay. That's so limiting

I was lowkey obsessed with Arq when I first turned 18, but it just got so bitchy. I remember going outside to "the alley" for air with friends and we would get abused for literally just standing there by borderline junkies because we "thought we owned the place"

Chicago has Lakeview/Boystown. Haven't been too much though.

Not Trash Alley. Notorious. I hate it & always come out smelling like dying animals & ashtrays. I've never been abused or even talked to there, the only people that come up to me are the ones looking for sex and they always get the hint quick because apparently I'm ruthless.

Stonewall downstairs is cute but I get bored upstairs because it's so cramped. But then my friends are drag queens so I only get free drinks downstairs, that helps.

At the big cities of Mexico it is, but in a smaller cities like mine the gay scene kinda blends with the straight one cause the gay bars in this town are hell holes not like the ones on bigger cities where there are actually nice gay bars.

Houston has a huge gay scene.


There's a lot of really chill gay bars in midtown that are absolutely awesome within blocks of each other. From my experience the clubs can be so trashy and ridiculous, only the 21+ ones are somewhat tolerable but I'm not that big of a club person to begin with.
