I'm a very open minded guy, but I don't agree with certain issues and I do have a conservative side too.

I feel like a large group of people attack you because you can't agree with their opinions 100%.

On the side of issues I haven't been really attacked someone just voiced what I honestly thought about it and I get really targeted. I see the same issue with other people.

I think there's a difference between agreeing with something and being disrespectful about something.

Views that interfere with other peoples' ability to live their life in peace and happiness don't deserve respect (that includes the veiled racism and homophobia that so many conservative ATRLers like to throw around like it's nothing). If your "opinion" involves withholding rights from someone or making someone not as privileged as you feel even more inferior then it is not valid a valid opinion, it's bigotry.

I didn't say completely, but in some areas I am conservative. Not everything has to be black or white.....

If you say something stupid, I'm not respecting anything. You have the freedom to speak your mind, but you also have the freedom to get that ass dragged.

Many conservative views - as I previously stated - are by default disrespectful towards some groups of people. And if you're disrespectful to them, why should I respect you and your opinion? (I'm not talking about you obviously, I can't even remember you posting anything conservative, so peace! )
