I sincerely doubt "Uptown Funk" is going to free fall, for the same reason "Blurred Lines" and "Happy" never fell freely. Massive mega-smashes (for the lack of a better way to describe UF) don't free fall. The burnout rates on BL and Happy far exceeded those of UF by this point, and those songs still fell like a feather.

The song has been around for a long enough time now that if it were going to bomb, it would have done so. All of UF's metrics are holding up well, and it should get a little boost from being nominated at the BBMAs. I'm NOT going way out on a limb and say UF WILL break the Top 10 record, but I think it definitely has a good chance.
