I never came out i never felt the need too it's pretty obvious that i like men and i believe i should't have to explain my sexuality i like what i like and that's it, hopefully in the future people are gonna chill and stop wanting everyone to have a label.

When i'll have kids i'm always gonna say "so do you have a boyfriend ? ....... girlfriend ?" i'm not gonna force anything upon them i'll never ask if their gay or not

This is the stupidest ****ing thing I've read today. Why would straights need to come out? Everyone is assumed to be heterosexual until they say they aren't, there's nothing to come out of because they aren't hiding their sexuality. Smfh.

It's not really that ignorant. The vast majority of the world is straight so it makes sense to just assume someone is straight unless told otherwise. Just like how on ATRL I assume someone is gay unless told otherwise. There's nothing wrong with assumptions

The point of this thread is why gays need to come out and sometimes its like an event and stuff and while straights don't need to come out we make ourselves different by coming out..

You should have to wear a glitter bracelet if you identify as gay and a grey string if you identify as straight.

We live in a world where it is automatically assumed you are straight UNLESS you don't conform to society's expectations. What is there to come "out" from?
