What is the purpose of this thread? There are no place for us, latinos, to discuss the new music our of beautiful countries. I decided to make a thread so we can discuss new releases and the music. We aren't a lot on the ATRL community, we can also discuss music shows like La Academia. Maybe we could have our mini rates. Everyone on the banner is an icon.

* This isn't a thread about Selena Gomez, Pitbull, Becky G, Austin Mahone, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera or Fifth Harmony and no, Ariana Grande isn't latina.

Hate Maná though they're like the Mexican Nickelback. I think Zoé and Motel are better. Heck for what it's worth even Panda is better than Maná. (I used to stan for them back in middle school

).

Ximena Sariñana needs to promote her album better, she just released a boring ballad. There are better songs on there. Natalia is doing well with her latest single so that's fine.

Also don't you hate the Latin Pop chart on Billboard it is so horrible like since when are bachata and reggaeton considered pop? I missed the 2000s before those were popular when we had La Oreja de Van Gogh and Julieta Venegas. Actually there was so much good music in the 2000s.

Dance pop music is dead in Latin America (Example: Belinda's Catarsis) unless is by american artists. The hottest song at least in my town is Perdoname by Deorro

IKR I remember that I loved Belanova as a child, they are still together? since MTV Latinoamerica doesn't support any new artist or pass music and is a non factor anymore, it has been more difficult to know new artists, it's sad how of a flop MTV LA is now, I remember Nikki Clan, Allison when pop rock was a trend in 2007

Belanova were so good. Middle school memories

I think they're still together. They haven't had a hit since Fantasia Pop and that was in 2007
