Props to the father for beating that pedo ass down and having the serenity to not end his life.

If anyone can answer this what do they do with pedos in prison? do they just serve their time or rehabilitation of some sort while in there.

I saw this documentary about pedo sex offender teens. They went through a course of therapy which forces them acknowledge their crime + explore why it's wrong. If they didn't take responsibility, they didn't make it through the programme, sometimes adding years to their sentences.

Putting myself in the father's shoes, I don't know how he held back. There are not enough clap3s to convey my respect.

I think the father should pay too. Ruining someone's face and beating them almost to death, no matter what they did, should not be allowed.

I get molesting an 11 year old is wrong, but people seem to not comprehend Pedophiles are mentally ill.
What this guy needs is punishment but also needs to be treated for his illness.
You wouldn't start a punch on with a kid with Autism if they got aggressive. I can understand why the father did it, as he's only human. However, people seem to think Pedo's are normal people with a weird fetish.
They are indeed mental ill, and it's hardcoded in their brains.

As humans, we are programmed to have no sexual desires for the young and old when we become sexually "ready". We are programmed to be sexually attracted to people who are "active" and able to reproduce.
We are also programmed to young children "cute" so we get protective over them.

In some cases, this doesn't happen and people grow up and still have the same feelings towards children as they did when they were young (eg. finding other kids in your class "pretty" and wanting to be their bf/gf when you're like 10 or so), with the addition of adult hormones making you sexually interested.

Not trying to defend Pedophiles, but just saying people that say "they should be killed" or "he needs more than 25 years" might as well say "anyone who is disabled should be shot" because that's basically what it is.

I kind of agree, but walking in on someone abusing your child is the most extreme provocation I can think of. I think it's fair to excuse him for losing it for a few minutes and refreshing the police didn't get him for a crime they so easily could.

What was the alternative? He could have acted more calmly but that wasn't going to happen given the situation. Legit feel he should be applauded for not killing the bitch; he kept control.

I don't condone violence but I can't say I feel too upset on his behalf.

I know it's pretty impossible to keep control in situations like that, but that's an extreme cause of violence, and it's shameful how it went completely unnoticed. Of course, that's nothing compared to what the pedo did.

Chemical castration is an option but I think some pedos have successfully argued it's against their human rights.

IMO, although we should always try to understand what makes people do horrible things and rehabilitation >>> punishment, pedos have the power to harm children. The ones who do not seek therapy or help for their problems are dangerous.
