Anyone who believes in equality between men and women and promotes it is a feminist.
Anyone who believes that men and women should be held to different standards, regardless of to whose detriment it is, is NOT a feminist.

It's not hypocrisy. Just like a white person has no authority in a conversation about racism, a man also doesn't have any in a conversation about women's rights.

I don't know about that. I think white people should be involved in conversations of racism - they don't face it but they do hold up the institution of racism, and if they are not educated about it, they will never learn. Also, why be so willing to discredit activism from a person who genuinely feels concern for the issue of racism despite not experiencing it firsthand? That's basically saying, "you've never experienced my pain, please stop acting on my behalf to find a solution to my problem".
The problem with intervention in racism comes when those who have never experienced want to DECIDE what constitutes racism. As they do not experience it, they should not be deciders of what fits the boundaries of racism.
