race aside, the reason I'm so for capital punishment is because there are already too many ****ing people on this planet that if you feel the need to kill someone, why not just take your life in return? you can say some eye for an eye crap but the fact of the matter is that in order to better circumvent things like food shortages / territory disputes in later years, we should just get rid of people who have demonstrated deliberate violent or deviant behaviors (pedophiles and aggravated sexual offenders can go too)

as opposed to holding someone in a cell for 30+ years (lord knows the psychological aftereffects there), wasting taxpayer dollars to keep them alive / fed, and then releasing them back onto the streets when a lot of times they just end up right back in prison anyway

Did you know that prison isn't a time-wasting holding cell? It's actually supposed to be a rehabilitation center?

Profits dictate everything. If prisoners actually were rehabilitated, they wouldn't be able to be kept in slave labor in private prisons to make big corporations money! But let's just kill them when they get too useless xoxo gossip girl!
