I mean you don't have to love them but the fact that a commercial like this that tells girls to love themselves & says saying "Like a girl" shouldn't be an insult has them in their feelings is very telling. People are always trying to expose feminists as some evil group of man hating people because they want equality, it's so stupid. Why are men, even gays on here who worship female pop stars, so bitter when it comes to feminists?

Because Tumblr is literally insane and ask for too much too fast. Social issues have to gradually evolve. You can't feed too much to the GP at once.

Plus moderately attractive girls have the option to literally sit back and let their man do the work for them. Not to be rude, but it's usually the not so attractive females complaining because they aren't attractive enough to get those privileges. But if you're an attractive female you have the power to control men at a lot of things lol

Oppression manifests in insidious and less than obvious ways. There is an unequal power dynamic with (conventionally) attractive women as well. "Trophy wife" status shouldn't be something we tell our children to strive for.

Because men, being seen as the stronger, superior sex since... forever... hate seeing their power being challenged.

I think we live in a society today where there are both extremes: one side with the douche bag who condescends the woman and makes her his trophy wife and another side where the girl is treated like a princess...where the guy spoils and provides for his woman because of society's expectation of a man owing something to and respecting his woman simply for being a woman. Women don't have an expectation to treat her man this way and provide for him... This can ultimately be condescending or give girls a huge advantage. While providing for your women stems from a past oppression, today it has less to do with oppression and more to do with expectation.

It ultimately depends on the guy a girl chooses and how she decides to carry herself. A lot of feminism lies in the hands of girls themselves and how they approach things instead of men like people make it seem

I disagree. Oppression comes from expectation. It's so ingrained in the fabric of our society that it becomes almost impossible to question it without becoming a pariah. Things have obviously gotten better because of years of ongoing attempts at transparency but it all comes from a place of "common sense" and expectation.

Cause they're racist and Homophobic plus they have usurped the gay community using them as a parasite against their own brotheren. Also they think women by default are all perfect little angels and men are by default evil. I'm not here for it sorry.

Personally I find a lot of popular modern day feminists to be really annoying. I'm also not here for them constantly speaking for all minorities. As for feminism in general, I believe it is a good thing and I believe there is still a need for it.

Also plenty of women are pressed at feminism too. :P
