This is NOT the 'Secrets you know because of your job' thread,but rather our experiences shopping and working in the retail/food industry

I don't like that I never did and probably never will work

But I've had issues with boutique owners who are stupid and don't know the seriousness of a contract and that I don't mess around when it comes to my collections that they ask to carry.

When one server peed in clam chowder and served it

Reminds me of the time those Domino's employees were putting Boogers and Spit on people's pizza and farted on pizza dough.

I know some Asian restaurant near the red light district got roaches.

What even

The Chick-Fil-A in our mall has roaches and gets closed down once every other month because of it. I don't understand why people eat there.

I just got food poisoning from Chili's last night, so I'm done there for a while.

The worst was when our local Starbucks had a promotion for $3 frappucinos, and when we ordered two large frappucinos, they told us the promotion was wrong and didn't mean anything. So I told them to come out and look at the sign out front that said all fraps were $3 and they pointed me out in front of the whole store for complaining over $4. Like seriously, employees stopped what they were doing, pointed at me and were laughing at my complaint.

So I called their manager and two of their employees got fired and I got free Starbucks for a month

I remember one time at Robinsons-May, My family and I were shopping for clothes and all of a sudden the power wen't off and then the whole clientele started to gasp and I was rollin'.

Mess.

I'll give you a tame one:

It was holiday season at my job, and it was close to either Thanksgiving or Christmas and these customers saw some expired apple juice on the shelf.They notified me that since it was expired, that they wanted the apple juice for FREE. (I couldn't mark anything down as it isn't my job duty) so I pointed them to the person who was working dairy,who was inside the cooler (The milk and juice shelves are actually part of the walk-in dairy cooler)

Needless to say they didn't get any juice for free.

One time my sister got a pizza and there was a bandaid on it.

it was just a local restaurant tho so yeah

Not really that bad, but once a manager picked up a spoon off the grimy kitchen floor and put it in someone's potato soup.

This hoe I work with spat in her exes drink so I went and told him and kii'd with his new gf while she cried and begged to keep her job

That's nasty.
Hopefully the restaurant doesn't have rodents are vermin.
