I work at a grocery store and I've only ever had to deal with two rude customers.
Customer 1: This elderly bitch, who from the moment walked up to my line I could tell was miserable as all hell. She didn't have a big order, it was either 30-40 dollars, well anyway, that's not the point. Point is, at our store, we scan the orders to completion before we start bagging, and us bagging isn't mandatory, it's basically a nice gesture we do to help as there are bags at the end of the registers, and some times if we're over staffed, baggers.
Well I finish ringing her order up and I look at her and I'm like "Your total is $37.47" and she doesn't say anything, so I stand around for like 10 seconds since she had like 5 more items to back, and then I repeated myself, and this haggard old woman had the audacity to be like "Yeah, I know, I heard you, I'm busy bagging, this isn't my job" so I just smiled and went about waiting for her to hand me the money, even though in my head i was like "Well bitch, it isn't my job either so either bag, or we'll stand here all ****ing night because I'm not bagging your **** now, and also bitch, unless they're is a bagger, it is your "job" because we're only doing this as a nice gesture, stupid ****"
Customer 2: This bitch is a real doozy, i wanted to strangle her. She was a mom that tried to be glamorous and cool and hip and basically still living in her teenage years. Well, god forbid an item scanned for 5 cents more than it was label, she would want me to void it off, but then she would change her mind like 80 times. Well she kept doing this with multiple items because she was annoying as ****. I was still new at the time, and I didn't know that if you void over 15 dollars worth of items off an order, you need a front end manager to give you an override.
So this bitch goes to pay with a giftcard and she swipes the gift card. "Transaction limit check" pops which is the override. And this bitch starts ranting and raving about how she's never used it before and there's 25 dollars on the card as I'm trying to explain that it has nothing to do with the card, but that if you void $15 bucks or more off that it won't go through, so all this time we keep trying over and over because she wouldn't listen (also swiping the card all backwards and ****, barcode out, flipped upside down, etc etc)
Finally i called the front end manager over and she gave me the override and explained, and this bitch still was giving me attitude, so the $25 from the gift card came off, and she was paying the rest with her credit card, which she proceeded to swipe 4 times the wrong way until I took the card from her and showed her. And she goes "Yeah, I knew you were doing something wrong because I'm an expert card swiper" and I looked at her straight and the face and was like "Honey, no you aren't because I told you 50 different times you were swiping it the wrong way, and even physically showed you the right way to swipe, and you still proceeded to do it wrong" and she had some nasty comment, and I gave her the receipt and in an overly nice and dramatic way, I was just like "HAVE A NICE DAY

"
Like bitch, don't tell me I'm wrong when I know I'm 100% right, that **** is my PET PEEVE and I will say something smart back to you. I got into a fight with one of my front end managers for that ****, and like I said, I was right in the end. I know when I'm right, and I know when I'm wrong, I'll admit when I'm wrong, but I will fight to the death, for years on end, if I know I'm 100% right in the situation.
