Avril Lavigne has announced the title of a new song. The singer will release 'Fly' in support of the Special Olympics World Games later this year after co-writing the track with husband Chad Kroeger and David Hodges. The track will also help to raise money for The Avril Foundation, a charity set up by the star to support young people with disabilities and life-threatening illnesses. Meanwhile, Lavigne is currently working on her sixth studio album, which will serve as the follow-up to her 2013 self-titled collection.

Love Avril but I hope she steers away from her commercial "hits" this album because they only bring her down at this point. She'll probably never be big again so she should stop downsizing her talent and make an album that is just Avril as an artist.
