I never go.

I wouldn't do it. In general I never go out places alone, not even restaurants. The only thing I'll do alone occasionally is shopping but even then I prefer going with other people.

I've been to gay clubs alone a few times the first time I went alone was my 18th and turned out to be one of my greatest nights ever. The other nights were so... dodgy/lame . Don't go alone; not a good chance you'll have fun if you do. It also kind of depends on who approaches you.

the closest i went alone was when I went with a guy I met online, we met there but I ended up going home with another guy who chased me and told me "You're so out of my league, OMG" and stuff like that... then we dated for a week and then he dumped me

It's not creepy at all. At a certain age you're probably just shy and don't know how to handle sitting alone and flirting, I used to be so much more shy as well. Get over it. At some point in your life you might be alone in a new city at first, why sit at home alone?

It is creepy but if you want to go somewhere & have no friends just walk around and pretend you lost your friends

BUT I go places by myself all the time (not gay bars lmao but the cinema or whatever), do what you want

I have no problem going to places like cinema and malls by myself but going to a bar alone, I'd never do that. I am gonna feel so insecure.
