I think she's gonna try. That's all I can hope for. She's a songwriter so she'll be writing songs all the way through the court battle. IDC if she pulls a The Veronicas and doesn't release an album for 7 years, I'll still be here for her. The Veronicas' album was one of the best of 2014 imo, btw

They had label troubles similar to Kesha, FINALLY got out of their deal with Warner Bros in 2013 (?) or perhaps it was early this year... and signed with Sony. A deluxe edition of their self titled is coming out next year with lots of B-sides so that's something to look forward to!

This is exactly what happened with Skylar Grey! She was signed to Linkin Park's label and released an album. Then she wanted to get out but they wouldn't let her, so she legally couldn't release music for years. She said she felt dead, like she couldn't do the thing she was born to do. Eventually she got out and wrote the song Love The Way You Lie about the experiences
There are bugs in my room and I hate them this is a ****ing nightmare they are chirping they're totally out of reach from me because they're like eight feet up on a horizontal pole so I need to ask someone for help tomorrow but I kinda don't want to because it will be Christmas and also I know when I wake up there'll be one or two on the floor crawling around or dead they're totally harmless but the chirping is so annoying because they're right above my bed and it's really loud and high-pitched I have a cover around my bed so they definitely won't even come close to my sleeping body at least and luckily they're completely harmless but I hatehatehate large insects with the antennae and **** and there's like five of them it's not my fault they were there the very first night I got here but that first night I thought it was the smoke detector or something
Experience in Songwriting: Well I run a blog posting free lyrics for people to take and use, I've been doing it since I was around 13, but attempted this contest to develop a different style of writing which I'm still trying to learn. One day I would love to write a song that earns me respect in this comp, and might get noticed by someone somewhere.
Favorite Songs/Artists Lyrically: Make em bounce like a basketball. Jks although "I'll sing your twisted symphony" is a fantastic lyric that Demi wrote and sung, even Taylor Swift tweeted about that lyric.

Kesha is probably gonna pull a Pebe and just be a songwriter working behind the scenes
I hope not. Pebe hasn't really written many good pop songs for others besides her work with Kesha. I'd like for Kesha to write for others too, but to release music herself as well.

It's so annoying when labels do this crap to artists. The same applies to Neon Hitch, and almost Katy Perry. Like, if you're not gonna let them release what they want to release, drop them already and give them a chance to find what they're looking for elsewhere.

Birthday was literally forced down the American GP's throats tho the most important part about a song should be the song, not the video. Even if it did have a good video it would be a hit like Anaconda, Booty and CRTFY. It flopped because the GP hated it. Kiii

Thats no excuse. It had fantastic airplay but the GP wasn't here for it. The video was absolutely tragic but so was the song itself. And whether it smashed or not I still hate it

I've finally got this song done!
It's so far out of my comfort zone, but I'm impressed that I could do it.
I'm actually proud of myself. If I leave the competition of course I will be devastated and sad, but at lease I tried something new and left when proud of myself. The metaphor runs throughout the entire song which is new for me, and I hope I did it justice. Is it a problem if I actually mentioned the Northern lights directly?
P.S. Now I REALLY wanna go see the Northern Lights
