Even though I didn't do as well in school this year as I would have liked, I still got an offer from the University I applied for in the degree I wanted... but I have no desire to go to uni anyway and this just makes it more clear. I'm not meant for a career in science, I'm meant to be writing and producing from 18 to 80! This is like the first day of my life where I've been 100% sure of what I'm meant to be doing with my life.

My sound cloud is actually getting to a good point of popularity though. I get about 75 plays on weeks I don't upload anything and twice that on weeks I do!

No actually, I haven't been doing any music oriented courses this year. The closest I came to doing so was an Audio Design course last year, but I've been focussing on other things... this year it was specialised math, chemistry, physics, English communications and psychology. I think I'll work all year next year and then perhaps sometime in 2016 I'll move to North America and pursue my music career. Being surrounded by people in this business has really opened my eyes and has made me aware that this is where I belong.

Thanks! Pop music definitely would be what I want to make, but I'd like to think I have a fairly open mind and wouldn't want to pigeon hole myself into any one style or genre. As a songwriter myself (that sounds so odd to say, but as I've made it this far in the competition, I guess that's okay to say?) I have more respect for artists who write their own material, so I wouldn't want to write FOR artists, but WITH them.
