Is Ariana so successful thanks to her influencers?
Ariana Grande's career's influenced by Legend X, and Mariah. Does the fact that she takes the best attributes from those legends, and puts her very own unique twist to those aspects, help make her so successful, and relevant?

Everyone I know ended up knowing her because of Problem which is a great song but all my friends skip to 'It's Iggy Iggs' because that is the highlight of the song.
Her success is mainly due to her vocal skills, the release of the right song at the right time and the stacking up of collaborations. She reminds me of Katy in that their first albums seemed to be very much their own style and then for the follow up they just recorded what they thought would chart well, the songs are cute and it works but it seems a little insincere at times, just my opinion though it doesn't make it fact.
She's got Mariah's voice/sound, Britney's Lolita concept and she's hot as ****. Mix in a launch from a children's network and top-notch producers and it's not hard to see why she is where she is.
Stop comparing Ariana to Mariah! She was not inspired by Mariah. She just covered some of her songs. Ariana is more inspired by legends like Xtina and Whitney.
Saying you're Christina next to Britney is self-dragg. We both know it since Christina always was under Britney's shadow throughout the years. The statement apparently is fake and it proves why Ariana would never say something like that and drag herself.
