In a few hours, we will be celebrating The release of Bey's Surprise Visual Album "BEYONCÉ". On December 12, 2013 in Honor of the 100th show of the "Mrs. Carter Show" the album was released on this date.

I was taking a big poop after eating some Mexican food when the album was released. I didn't even finish pooping. I immediately downloaded the album of the year on iTunes.
i went to sleep early bc i was still recovering from the scandal finale and woke up and saw i had like 20 texts so i thought someone died but it was all people telling me beyonce released an album and i thought it was a joke so i looked on itunes and all i saw was black and pink

I just remember going on iTunes randomly that night and her face was plastered with a list of songs. It had to have been seconds of it being posted. I remember telling my roommate who is her BIGGEST Stan and he had no clue so breaking the news to him was amazing!
Was staying up late dying a science project, went on twitter and saw bill werde say something about how he was struggling to keep the news quiet that beyonce surprise released an album, rushed to iTunes and played a bunch of snippets in disbelief. Blow was my initial favorite, now it's my least favorite.

A year later the album is still getting praised by many respected sources not a bunch of internet forum soldiers, and still selling it also led Beyonce to her biggest tour one that non of her female peers have yet to match.
