weird. i know she likes madonna and they even recorded a song together with other women and she praised her vocals etc. but at least annie is consistent in her view regardless of age. it's just her opinion. but she could use a bit of chill.

Annie, I love you to pieces and Im glad that you went on to praise Ms humanitarian work, but I do think that Madonna showing that being comfortable with your sexuality is ok even when many people judge her because she is apparently too old for that, is also a very important message.

Whats wrong with her covering Strange Fruit? I feel very moved each time I listen it, no matter if its Billie or Annie singing it (Ninas version is my favorite), and Im white. You dont have to live through it to be able to express the emotions and be touched by it. Its a beautiful rendition imo and she is not doing any harm by singing it.
