Jailing her was definitely extreme but I'm very supportive of my country's stance on online bullying. We take it seriously here as it is a growing problem and one other countries should certainly be taking more seriously. Jailing internet trolls isn't a common thing here though, in this case they gave her a short prison sentence to make an example out of her so they could then use her to promote awareness of the problem among other young people in the hopes of preventing future incidents.
