It's funny how some pop girls (Mostly Katy and Gaga) get dragged by all of you for supporting gays claiming they're "using us" to sell but when a subjectively attractive guy strips and does it it's ok
All of you are falsely assuming that the gay community as a whole supports being pandered to by straight pop girls and that it somehow nullifies the argument that it is bad for Nick Jonas to pander. Artists who are confident in the quality of their art can sell their work purely on its merits and don't have to pander to an audience to try to get people to buy it. Whether it's Lady Gaga or Nick Jonas, pandering to a gay audience shows extreme disrespect by assuming that the audience is not discerning of actual artistic merit and will just support it for some other superficial reason.

Agreed! The whole consumerism culture sometimes took away what's mattered!
I mean on one hand, I reckon Adam's got a point, Nick's image nowadays is coming off rather feigned, and insincere and as one member noted "Not being an asshole is not commendable" so I find the"at least he's not a homophobe" argument to be silly especially given the fact he could very well be a homophobe playing along with his label's exploitative marketing tactics and whatnot. On the other hand, pandering to a specific audience for commercial appeal and the very essence of being a popstar pretty much go hand in hand and I don't suppose an attractive guy doing shirtless photoshoots for a couple magazines is getting anybody hurt.
