The question you may ask is: why do they do this? These days, when a lot of games are heading to be polite, colorful, politically correct and trying to be some kind of higher art, rather than just an entertainment – we wanted to create something against trends. Something different, something that could give the player a pure, gaming pleasure. Herecomes our game, which takes no prisoners and makes no excuses. We say ‘yes, it is a game about killing people’ and the only reason of the antagonist doing that sick stuff is his deep-rooted hatred. Player has to ask himself what can push any human being to mass-murder. We provoke this question using new Unreal Engine 4, pushing its physics (or rather PhysX) systems to the limits and trying to make the visuals as good as possible. It's not a simple task, because of the game's non-linear structure and a lot of characters on the screen. But here at Destructive Creations, we are an experienced team and we know how to handle the challenge!
sounds like they are kinda making a parody of polite video games i guess
I don't mind shooting games or even violent games, but does this even have a plot?
most likely somebody or certain people mistreated him as a kid or something happened to him as an adult so he feels the need to take it out on innocent people as most killers do

n i Know I'm gonna be called out for this, but I think i'd like to buy the game, I've ALWAYS loved to kill innocents in video games/take evil paths when I get the choice etc. I actually really want it n. Which is very contrasting with my real personality since I'm never violent or hurtful with people usually, I probably need to take the anger out
Too bad that "higher art" means Sony has some of the most critically acclaimed games of recent years which the other boring consoles don't! Journey, Flower, Limbo, etc
No joke, the first time that I watched this, I thought that it was meant to be a parody of violent games, not an actual game about mass murder.
It seems more like an attempt to be "daring" and "hardcore" and a means to gain attention, instead of offering anything truly profound to say about these killers or society as a whole, as far as I can tell, and I think that's more damning than the subject matter itself, though only just.
