I don't know about that game but I just went on Wiki and it looks like there's an actual storyline/plot to it... Can't really compare that to this.
Wow, so a storyline makes virtually murdering people less bad? Please. It doesn't make the moment when you're slitting someone's throat any different
Vicious murder has been in video games for decades. The people behind this are just cutting all the ******** and saying "Look, a lot of people like to kill other people in video games. Here you are."
I usually don't mind violent video games... but this is too much. I can take a lot, but that trailer was hard for me to watch. People are probably going to compare this to past violent games and say they weren't any better, but I don't agree. The thing about games like GTA V is that the main goal isn't to kill every innocent civilian. It's optional. Plus the game is portrayed in a lighter, more satire like way. And with something like Mortal Kombat it's supposed to be way over the top. The thing that bothers me about this game is how serious it takes itself, how the main goal is to just kill every single person, and how the people are begging for their lives. Plus some of those scenes shown seem too close to home with all these school shootings going on.
