Samsung REFUSES to pay BILLIONS of royalties to Microsoft

Samsung made similar statements when Microsoft filed the lawsuit earlier this year, but is now changing its stance to focus more on antitrust issues stemming from the fact that Microsoft is now a direct hardware competitor. Samsung's deal with Microsoft in 2011 stipulated that the South Korean vendor would share sensitive data and develop Windows Phone devices with Microsoft, which would result in a reduction in the amount to be paid in royalties from Samsung's sale of Android devices.

Well, 74% down in profits, I can see why they're clinging to every Penny. Samsung, ha Blackberry era.
Blackberry, eliminated, RIP.
Nokia, destroyed,
Steve Ballmer, fired,
Sinofsky, fired.
Windows 8 forgotten,
Windows 9 skipped from further embarassment.
Windows 10 coming to slay in 2015.
Satya Nadella saves Microsoft.
Samsung, done, poof, it was good while it lasted.
Only Apple left to go..
Well done King Microsoft We shall conquer the world again.

So Samsung is done, despite still being the #1 smartphone seller in the world, whereas Microsoft is slaying, despite not even being in the TOP5 ?
It's like all the haters lost their lack of common sense and logic ever since the "Samsung 70% drop news"

This is hilarious. Microsoft may be milking cash out of Android manufacturers, but all they are doing with the money is throwing it away trying to make their lost cause OS Windows Phone happen.
It ain't gon' happen.
And not some of y'all acting like you don't know Samsung is providing processors, screens and other parts to a number of companies including Apple, on top of selling their own phones. They have stacks of cash and Samsung is a huge company.
Google is trying to slyly destroy Samsung's mobile business though after they threatened to leave Android, so Samsung needs to go running back to Google to save them if they want to last.
Huawei and LG are coming to snatch their S-Wigs.

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, Haru. I'm switching to an S4 soon if HTC M8 for Windows doesn't come to Canada. I've already made apps for Android, so may as well switch platforms now.

Too bad but Apple is selling more smart phones than samsung. and Apple has 100% people satisfaction who bought it, unlike Samsung, which laggs when you are tring it in it's own store.

Hey, at least someone else is paying for XBox operations. What better way than to spend someone else's money.

Profits are down for Windows Phone because they made license free but sales are still on the rise. Nokia sold 9.5 Mill Lumias this quarter making it the best quarter so far for Nokia for WPs WITHOUT a flagship.
Windows 8 is at 18% Market Share right now up 6% from last month.
Surface profits are up almost 100% from 500 Million to 950 Million this year.
It's happening slowly. It's finally Coming

Last time I checked, 78 millions shipped >>> 39 millions sold.
Mathematics must be different where you live.

If Samsung is still on top then why the 74% decline? How do you explain that?

Are you that...
Adèle sold 30 million albums last era. If her next one ends up selling 5 million, she'll have had a MASSIVE decline but will still be #1...
Jésus Christ, help me.
