I used an 'Inspirational & others' verse. I had some difficulties because hooks aren't really my thing.

I wrote a self-empowerment anthem

It's about how no one can bring you down and about how you're living your life and you can do whatever you want

I can't wait for the results tbh.

Usually the challenge requires a full song, so you're given a week. I might post a bonus round to fill the time I guess because no one needs 5 days to do this

My trinity is Wildest Dreams, Bad Blood, and Wonderland. Those three alone

My trinity is I Know Places, Wonderland and Wildest Dreams, but I love every song

I really liked SIO and OOTW but WTNY was a bit of a letdown for me

My trinity is Style, Clean, and How You Get the Girl. Then I love everything else except for my anti-trinity: Welcome to New York, I Know Places, Wonderland. Bad Blood is also bottom tier... I love the hook but the chorus is so weak.

Style and Clean (and Blank Space) are in my second trinity. WTNY is the weakest song by far. And yes, I feel the same about Bad Blood, the chorus is weak.

I chose a verse from the Heart & Darkness pile, ofc. It went through several revisions before I finally decided on this concept of 'loving the feeling of being mistreated'. One of my more unique songs definitely.

Btw I still need to listen to 1989!

I really enjoyed writing my chorus and it's really about sex. I even had to censor a word

I wanted to do the 1st verse of the Love & Sex selection but its in the view from a woman and that changed my lyrics dramatically for it

No, you choose only ONE verse to write a chorus for. You can finish the song, only if you wanted to, by writing another verse and a bridge but only the chorus gets judged by how it fits in with the verse you've picked. The ---'s are there in order to separate each verse and they all come under either three categories: Love & Sex, Heartbreak & Darkness, Inspirational & Others.

No, there's just a selection of 4/5 verses in each category and you choose one of the 13 verses and write a chorus. The ---'s are just dividers.
