I like Gaga but she hasn't evolved as an artist either (minus jazz, which also for P!nk with her indie-folk album). All her three albums are dance. And don't tell me she "experiments" because it is still dance music. I don't know what's ATRL's thing with P!nk releasing the same music when everyone and I do mean everyone releases same-genre music.
Gaga's impact is still too early to gauge IMO. 10 years from now will people cite her as an influence? That is unknown. A more-suited word would be popular. But P!nk has had a lot of impact - Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Adele, Katy Perry all cite her as an inspiration. I'm not saying Gaga will not have that, I'm just saying her time isn't here yet.

I think she has. She has experimented with a lot of different types of dance music and she has had different styles and images, no era really looked like the other and when you see a picture and hear a song you can tell from which one it is. I don't feel like P!nk has that anymore.
It's not only an ATRL thing, a lot of people I know feel like that too. I personally think her last great album was 'I'm not dead'. From then she has mostly been sticking to the same formula. Even her performances are mostly the same with the acrobatic element (sorry, can't remember what the thing she does is called). I think she was mostly playing safe the last couple albums.
I definitely see where you're coming from, we don't know how people will think of her in the future and how many people will be inspired by her but what makes her special is that she has already influenced a lot of artists and pop culture. With her came dance pop and after the success of Pokerface even more artists did it. She has inspired crazy fashion and others to try to incooperate art into their work, i think so far that's already huge enough.
