It's their right not to hire her for wearing a head scarf
1) a head scarf is a choice, it has nothing to do with religion, otherwise all muslim women would wear one
2) a company can decide what people they hire and what disqualifies you, otherwise they should hire anyone who wants to be hired, cuz everyone is rejected for a reason

Well if the case was that she wouldn't take off her headscarf for photoshoots, then they are in every right to deny her.
If she was willing to take it off for photoshoots, then they are in the wrong.

It's not really good to see someone in A&F wearing a head scarf. People might hesitate to buy. They made the right choice not to hire her(business wise) but they made a mistake in handling this kind of applicant.

Their shallowness seems to have no end. I saw a News Piece about a woman who was fired from there just because she had a baby and was on maternity leave.
I'll never work there.

If Abercrombie have hired muslims that don't wear head scarfs then she might not win this case.
I don't really like Abercrombie anyway, for different reasons. I live in a place where white people are a minority overall, yet everybody who works in the shop here is white. Seems fishy to me tbh, although it might be to do with whoever owns this particular store rather than the company as a whole.

Theres nothing wrong IMO, since they basically do have a uniform in their workplace which is dress/look a certain way. She should've known that before applying, unless she was willing to take it off while she was working, then they are wrong.

The models of Abercromie are actually people that work at the stores, they take pictures of you and send it to the company and the best looking people get to be in the photoshoot

If you think that's ignorance, you only clocked yourself.... until not long ago headscarves were forbidden in universities etc in Turkey, an islamic country. I know a lot of muslims who say the headscarf is worn by some women as a choice and by most women cuz their husband forces them to + if they have to hire this girl they need to hire the next fatty that applies for a job, cuz I mean, he can have a muscular body, he just chooses not to, like the girl who chooses not to take of her headscarf...
