So basically we give a name to every decade, if it's something boring like the eighties or nineties. Or we abbrievate it to the 80's, 90's and 00's. Some people call this decade the noughties. What is our next decade gonna be called because this really confuses me. Are we gonna be going into the 10's?

I was wondering the same thing. No one was calling that decade 100 years ago the 10s.

But then again that generation wouldn't call it anything. Anything from 1900 - 1919, is just called by their year numbers. Or from 1914 - 1919 the WW1 years.
