actually the 1900's are usually referred to as the 1900s and 1910s and then dropping the "19" when at the '20's .... 30s, 40s, etc.
As for what we will call the new decade, probably the 2010's (pronounced as twenty- tens, not two-thousand tens.... i think 2010 will be a good time to start the twenty trend and stop using "two-thousand" .... i mean, you didn't see them using "one-thousand nine hundred" in the early 1900's)
