By that logic all humans are naturally selfish, because we are all sad when a loved one passes on since they are no longer here for us to love. Though not to say its wrong or right.
I think it always depends. It is a bit selfish in certain ways to commit suicide in the event that there are people who love and care for you, and would do anything to make sure that you don't. Suicide is the very LAST option to take, especially when people are trying to help you. Life is literally the longest thing we can experience with people we love, and there are so many different paths to take in your life that could save you from doing such a thing.
If you are truly in an environment that makes you feel like that, leading you to do that then no, it isn't selfish. Its just how any human being would react to such a level of intense sadness and depression.
